Much awaited Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 series is scheduled to be launched on March 12 at 12 PM in India. Ever since the launch of the Redmi Note 9 series was announced, there were rumours that two Note 9 phones would be launched on March 12. But now there are chances of Xiaomi releasing three Note 9 phones. This means today Xiaomi may launch Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.
Xiaomi cancelled its on-ground launch event for the Redmi Note 9 series after a few confirmed cases of Coronavirus surfaced in India. Now the launch is an online event. Xiaomi has been ruling the Indian smartphone market, especially in the budget segment. Hence, the Redmi Note 9 series holds utmost importance for the company considering the success of Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro.

Redmi Note 9 series livestream
The on-ground launch event of Redmi Note 9 series was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak so the company is now looking forward to hosting an online launch event. The launch that is scheduled to begin at 12 noon will be live-streamed on Youtube. Here’s the link:
Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max possible prices
The Redmi Note 9 is reported to be priced around Rs 11, 000, slightly more than its predecessor Note 8. While the Redmi Note 9 Pro is rumoured to cost around Rs 12,000 to 15,000, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is rumoured to be priced under Rs 20,000 roughly between Rs 15000 to Rs 17000

Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max possible specs
All the four smartphones releasing under the Redmi Note 9 series are likely to house quad-camera setup on the rear. As per the leaks, unlike the usual vertical placing of the cameras, the Redmi Note 9 phones will have a square-shaped camera island, somewhat like what we have seen on the iPhone 11 Pro series and the Galaxy S20 series.
The Redmi Note 9 will be powered by Snapdragon 720G processor while the Redmi Note 9 Pro will have a MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor. The specifications of Note 9 Pro Max is still under wraps. Both the Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro will house 5000mAh batteries under the hood. The Redmi Note 9 will have three different variants such as 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB.
