Following months of leaks and some days of teasers, the Realme X50 Pro has been officially launched today. As you probably already know, the X50 Pro is Realme’s first flagship for 2020; thus we’re going to find some of the best hardware currently on the market. Keep reading to learn more!
REALME X50 PRO 5G OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED WITH 90HZ DISPLAY AND 65W SUPERDART CHARGING
Meanwhile when you’re indoor, you can take advantage of Wi-Fi 6 and Dual Wi-Fi Acceleration technologies; with which you can reach 9.6 Gbps, around 40% faster than the previous Wi-Fi generation.
Along with the high-end SoC, the X50 Pro then packs a maximum of 12GB of LPDDDR5 RAM; which is nearly 50% faster than high-frequency LPDDR4. For storage, we find UFS 3.0 with Turbo Write and HPB technology. Turbo Write enables write speeds of up to 730-760MB/s and paired with HPB (Host Performance Booster) read speeds can go up to 1700-1900MB/s.
To power this beast up, Realme provided the smartphone with 65W SuperDart flash charge (10V 6.5A). This technology allows to charge the integrated 4200mAh battery from 0% to 100% in just 35 minutes. The X50 Pro also supports 18W QC/PD charging and 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge.
Moving onto the display, as previously teased, the Realme X50 Pro features an averagely sized 6.44-inch Samsung Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and 180Hz sampling rate. The screen also sports a 20:9 ratio, 2400x1080P FHD+ resolution, 1000+nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3, 105% NTSC color gamuts and packs a last gen G3.0 fingerprint recognition and unlocking solution.
On the beautiful display we’ll then be able to check out the outstanding pictures captured by the six sensors; we do indeed find four at the back and two at the front. Let’s start with the four rear cameras which include a 1/1.72-inch Samsung GW1 64MP sensor with f/1.8 large aperture and Quad Bayer’s 4-in-1 intelligent pixel binning technology.
The primary sensor is paired with a 119° ultra wide-angle lens sporting 8MP resolution, a 12MP camera with up to 20x Hybrid Zoom (2X hybrid optical zoom lens can achieve 5X optical hybrid zoom and 20X hybrid zoom) and a B&W portrait lens which assists the main lens to capture light better and enhance image contrast.

As far as selfies are concerned, the smartphone packs a 32MP Sony IMX616 sensor with 80° wide-angle main camera paired with an 8MP 105° super wide-angle camera; to achieve a 2.5 times
wider field of view.
Other features on the Realme X50 Pro include NFC with support for Google Pay, Dual-band GPS (L1+L5), Dual Super Liner Speakers and Tactile Linear Motor. Finally, the smartphone runs Realme UI based on Android 10 and it’ll be available in Mass Green and Rust Red.

The Realme X50 Pro will sell in India for Rs. 37,999 ($530) for 6GB/128GB, Rs. 39,999 ($550) for 8GB/128GB and Rs. 44,999 ($620) for 12GB/256GB. Meanwhile in Spain they’ll cost 599 euros (8GB / 128GB), 669 euros (8GB / 256GB), and 749 euros (12GB / 256GB). We’ll update the article when pricing in other markets are unveiled.
