“It appears a retailer in Hanoi said to have been selling nearly-complete device samples right from the production line, thereby explaining the series of leaks”

The new Google Assistant UI on the Pixel 4 model seems to be rather minimalist as the existing full-screen pop-up is being removed and is replaced with a minimal pop-up that only takes a smaller portion on the lower half of the display. However, it isn’t clear if this change would be rolled out to older Pixel phones as well.

Moreover, it also offers a glimpse at the new Pixel Themes screens, camera settings that reveals the 12.3MP primary rear camera and an 8MP selfie snapper, Smooth Display toggle that automatically adjusts the refresh rate from 60Hz and 90Hz depending on the content on the screen, and more.

The leaked hands-on video also shows the setup procedure of the new Face Unlock. Much-like the latest iPhones, users will have to rotate their face in different directions in front of the sensor to enrol the face metadata. Google says that the face data will be stored on the phone itself. The Pixel themes let users customise the icon set, text from the preset collection. These options are included within the developer settings in the Android 10 OS.
