Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, the flagship smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker, is getting further discount during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale. The smartphone, which retails at Rs 29,999, will be available for Rs 22,999. The Mi MIX 2 is getting a discount of Rs 7,000 during the sale, and is among the smartphones that have received the biggest discount.
Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale is being held from October 10 to October 14, and the discounted price will be applicable on the second day of the sale. This year, Flipkart is offering discounts across different product segments on different days and smartphones are being discounted by as much as 62 percent on Flipkart. Apart from discount on Mi MIX 2, Xiaomi Redmi 6 will be available for Rs 7,999, a discount of Rs 1,000 while the Redmi Note 5 Pro’s special price will be announced later today.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2: Specifications and Price
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is the second generation smartphone designed by French designer Philippe Starck. It does not have a forehead but has a chin, which also houses the front-facing camera. The smartphone uses metal and glass unibody design with gold accent around the camera ring that gives it an unique look.
It features a 5.99-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. On the camera front, the Mi MIX 2 features a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The Mi MIX 2 sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and it runs MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo. The smartphone is scheduled to be updated to MIUI 10, which brings a redesigned user interface to support the taller display. It supports connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and 4G LTE. There is a 3,400mAh battery and it will be available in black color during the Big Billion Days sale.
