Oppo K1 leaked in live image revealing waterdrop notch

Oppo is expected to launch all-new K-series of smartphone and the Oppo K1 will be the first device in the series. Now the Oppo K1 has been spotted in a real-life image.

Chinese phone-maker Oppo will be launching a new smartphone on October 11 while according to the rumours that it is also going to launch a new series on similar day. Oppo is expected to launch all-new K-series of smartphone and the Oppo K1 will be the first device in the series. Now the Oppo K1 has been spotted in a real-life image.


Although the image via Slashleaks, does not say much, it shows the handset encased in an industrial case to prevent spy shots. It shows that the smartphone will come with a huge waterdrop notch display and it uses the latest Color OS which is same as seen on recently launched Oppo R17. Reports also claim that the Oppo K1 could be a cheaper, more affordable version of the Oppo R17 flagship.


As per previous leaks, the Oppo K1 will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It is also expected that the smartphone might come with an under-display fingerprint scanner. Reportedly, the device will be fuelled by a 3,500mAh battery and will be available in Blue, Red, and Silver colours. The smartphone will feature a 16MP + 2MP dual-camera setup at the rear and a 25MP selfie snapper on the front.


Oppo K1 was recently spotted on GeekBench website. The listing showed that the phone runs on the Snapdragon 660 processor. It will feature 6GB of RAM and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.  The rumours have also revealed that there will be a cheaper variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
