Oppo’s sub-brand Realme launched its first smartphone just a few months ago in May, the Realme 1. After its early success, the company has since changed its structure to operate separately from its parent company, and its first launch since then is the Realme 2. While the phone was unveiled on August 28, the first sale of the phone took place on September 4. The phone received great response from buyers, with the company claiming to have sold 2,00,000 units of the phone in five minutes of the sale.
While the Realme 2 is currently out of stock, the next sale date has already been revealed. The phone will go back on sale on September 11, at 12 noon on Flipkart. It will once again be a flash sale, with limited stock being up for purchase. It isn’t clear if all variants of the phone will once again go on sale. The Realme 2 starts at Rs 8,990 for the 3GB RAM / 32GB storage variant, and Rs 10,990 for the 4GB RAM / 64GB storage option.
