Vivo NEX launched in India at Rs 44,990

Smartphone makers have found a number of ways to offer larger and shrink the bezels around it. One of the common ways to do so is adding a notch but smartphones like Vivo NEX and Oppo Find X differ that notion. The NEX’s marquee feature is the pop-up selfie camera which comes out of an enclosure only when you need it. It is a cool trick and worthy of praise when you see for yourself.

Xiaomi Mi Max 3, the third-generation phablet from the Chinese smartphone maker is now official. It was launched in China early today and it features a 6.9-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and 18:9 display. The most interesting aspect of the Mi Max 3 is its massive 5,500mAh battery.
In terms of specs, the Mi Max 3 is not much different from that of Redmi Note 5 Pro. It has a Snapdragon 636 CPU, up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. A dual rear camera setup and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone starts at 1,699 (around Rs 17,200) and should soon make its way to India.
Samsung could launch $300 Bixby smart speaker at August 9 event
We are inching closer to the launch of Galaxy Note 9 and at the big event, Samsung could also launch its much rumored Bixby-enabled smart speaker. Samsung’s Bixby smart speaker is said to be priced at $300, which makes it a premium offering that will challenge Google Home Max, Apple HomePod and Amazon Echo Show.
Samsung struggled to make Bixby available alongside the Galaxy S8 launch last year and its assistant is yet to match the level of Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. It is not immediately clear how better Bixby will be on the smart speaker and how Samsung plans to stand out in this space.
