Samsung Galaxy Note 9 - 512GB storage model will be limited to select markets, may not come to India

Samsung is yet to confirm the launch date for its most anticipated device of the year, Galaxy Note 9. Rumours, however, suggest that the company may launch the Galaxy Note 9 in the first week of August, most like on August 9 at its "Unpacked event" in New York City. To recollect, Galaxy Note 8 was also launched in August last year.

Rumours suggest that Samsung may launch the Note 9 in three RAM and storage options. The top-end model will come with 512GB storage and 8GB RAM. A new report now reveals that the 512GB model does exist, but it will be limited to only select markets, most likely to Samsung's home market, Korea and China and maybe few others.

According to previous rumours, the base model of the Note 9 will come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The second model will come with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage. Lastly, the third model, which is said to be the most expensive of three, is expected to come with 8GB RAM and 516GB storage.

The third model of Note 9 (8GB RAM and 512GB storage) will be limited to only select markets, reveals SamsunMobuile.News on Twitter. The tweet mentions, "Galaxy Note 9 will come with 512GB ROM to selected markets (Korea, China and maybe more)." This means Samsung may not bring the 512GB storage model of the Note 9 to India.

The new report reveals that the Note 9 512GB model will be limited to Korea, China and a few other markets only. We can, however, expect the other two variants of the Note 9 (6GB RAM/128GB storage and 6GB/256GB storage) to come to India.

Galaxy Note 9 has been subjected to several leaks and rumours ahead of the launch. According to rumours, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will offer very few changes over the Note 8 design-wise. The phablet, however, will sport a bigger display than the Note 8. Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will come with a display of 6.4-inch, which is a significant upgrade over last year's Note 8 which comes with a 6.3-inch display.

Rumours also suggest that Note 9 will come with a much bigger battery than the Note 8. Leakster Ice Universe revealed that the Galaxy Note 9 will come with a whopping 4000mAh battery. It will be paired with fast charging support. The Note 8 comes with 3300mAh battery.

Just as the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+, Note 9 will also be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845. But, the Snapdragon model may not come to India. Samsung, just as it does with all its flagship devices, will bring the Exynos 9810 version of the Note 9 to India. The phablet is also rumoured to come with Android 8.1 Oreo with Samsung's custom Android UI 'Crown UX' on top, dual cameras on the back, and in-display fingerprint sensor. Some rumours, however, suggest a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for the Note 9.

Samsung may launch the Galaxy Note 9 five colours options -- Teddy Brown, Black, Blue, Lavender, and Grey.
