Oppo Find X, the flagship smartphone launching on June 19,
is now said to feature a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8 percent. If this turns
out to be real then Find X will be the smartphone with screen-to-body ratio
yet. This will be higher than 91 percent screen-to-body ratio of Vivo NEX.
The information regarding Oppo Find X’s superior
screen-to-body ratio has appeared in the form of a product teaser. The teaser
was first spotted by tipster Ice Universe who posted the same on Twitter.
This
further suggests that Oppo Find X will have an edge-to-edge display along with
a notch similar to Oppo R15 flagship, which should help the smartphone achieve
high screen-to-body ratio.
Oppo has already posted teaser claiming that Find X will
deliver a comprehensive full screen experience. It is not expected to feature
any kind of bezel and might not even have the chin seen on Vivo NEX. The leaks
originating from China suggest that Oppo Find X will have all its sensors
embedded within the display, which is the technology first seen on Vivo NEX.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Oppo Find X is
likely to feature a 6.4-inch display and could be equipped with 8GB of RAM and
Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. The smartphone, like Vivo NEX S, could be
offered with 128GB or 256GB internal storage. One of the key highlight will be
the 5x zoom, which Oppo has already confirmed. The smartphone will use a
periscope-style imaging system to achieve the lossless zoom.
A TENAA listing indicates that Oppo Find X will adopt the
in-display fingerprint sensor similar to Vivo Nex and support for 5G
connectivity. The Find X will be officially unveiled at The Louvre in Paris,
France on June 19. It needs to be seen whether Oppo edges Vivo to offer a real
full-screen experience without any compromise.
